Through a therapeutic and coaching model Mackenzie will not only help your child to improve their communication and feeding skills, she will also set you on the path to realizing your own skills as a loving, compassionate teacher for your child during the time between therapy sessions.

What Families Are Saying

“We truly can’t thank Mackenzie enough. She came into our home, met our daughter who was not saying a word, and poured herself into her work with us week by week. Our daughter has CAS (childhood apraxia of speech), and it was a hard thing to hear at first. By the end of our time together, our daughter was speaking in 3 word phrases. We will never forget Mackenzie!”

— C.S., Mother of child in York, Maine

“After a long NICU stay, I came home from the hospital pretty traumatized and still struggling with feeding our daughter. Mackenzie trialed several bottles and nipples with us, assisted us with positioning, and helped us recognize important signs of reflux that we were missing. She helped me feel confidence as a mom for the first time.”

— G.W., Mother of child in Kittery, Maine

“My child is on the Autism Spectrum and is nonverbal. Mackenzie introduced us to PECs (Picture Exchange Communication System) and we watched in amazement as our son communicated for what felt like the first time in his life. We knew there was so much in there but could never see how to get it out. The tears of joy that were shared all around the room are something I will never forget.”

— K.D., Mother of child in Berwick, Maine

“When my daughter first started speech with Mackenzie she had recently been diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes and Anxiety, so I was nervous about how she would handle getting speech from someone she didn’t know. Mackenzie made sure the first thing she did was develop a relationship with my daughter so she felt comfortable and safe. By developing that relationship, my daughter is now excited to see Mackenzie every week and is making great progress despite all of her challenges. I couldn’t imagine anyone doing a better job than Mackenzie does!”

— S.M., Mother of child in Arundel, Maine
